We believe that our experience in providing Wedding catering is second to none.

Charles & Wendy spent some years in the Weddings scene before launching the company.

We are well experienced in ensuring that your big day goes off with any hitches.

Unlike many catering companies we do not load our prices, which is quite common.

Our first ever Hog Roast was for a wedding at Ye Old Bell at Hurley on Thames in May 2005.

We regularly work on a sub contract basis at Hotels, Public Houses & exclusive Wedding Venues / Country Clubs were we are typically charged out at £25 per head.

Our Wedding menu‘s are usually bespoke to your requirements.

Alternatively many Brides & Grooms choose our standard Hog Roast menu which offers excellent value for money.

For 2009 we already have many wedding bookings including a Wedding at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum in Gosport, which is an excellent venue.

Weddings at short notice

Andy & Annie’ s Wedding – Appuldurcombe House, Wroxall, Ventnor, Isle of Wight – Saturday 29th August 2009

On the 13th August 2009, we received a phone call from Bob, Andy’s father, enquiring if we could cater for his son’s wedding in 2 weeks time as their caterer had ceased trading.

We hastily arranged a meeting the following day with Andy & Annie & went through their detailed planned Wedding arrangements.

Despite the fact that we already had another wedding booked for 150 guests the same day, we accepted their booking for 118 guests.

On Saturday 29th August 2009 myself & 4 staff with three vans & 2 trailers caught the 8am Red Funnel ferry from Southampton to East Cowes arriving at Appuldurcombe House at 9.45am.

The wedding was at 2.30pm & Andy & Annie together with their guests arrived at the marquee on the lawn in front of Appuldurcombe House at 4.30pm.

The weather was beautifully warm & sunny and the guests relaxed & enjoyed Pimms & Hot Canapes whilst the harpist played & the photographs were taken.

The Hog Roast meal was served at 5.30pm followed by a choice of desserts.

Freshly brewed fine Italian Coffees were available all evening until 11pm .

We left the venue having removed all rubbish and tidied up at about 12.15am.

We caught the 2.30am ferry arriving in Southampton at 3.30am & home at 4.15am.

Andy & Annie were extremely pleased with our catering on their big day.

Clean & Clear Away Service

We offer a comprehensive clean & clear away service which is mostly used by our Wedding Clients.

At the end of an evening Wedding Reception, the happy couple have left as have most of the guests.

The marquee or village/church hall needs to be cleaned up & all rubbish removed from site.

We will if necessary work through the night until the area is totally clean.

The cost works out usually at around £1 to £2 per guest with a minimum of £75.

We can also arrange for a commercial 1100 litre dustbin if on is not on site at an additional costs of only £25.

Village halls such as Itchen Abbas have cancelled their dustbin contracts to save money & require you to remove all rubbish from their site.

Failure to do so can result in you losing all of your large deposit!
